The Floyd Kelly Music studio is located in the Pacific Northwest (US). Our studio thrives in a small town surrounded by mountains and lush evergreen forests. It is very peaceful.

I officially began releasing my music in 2013 with the debut of “Benevolence,” an 8-track electronic music album. Between then and 2017, I published 5 full-length music albums. After a focused creative period, I returned in 2024 and have since released 35 music singles, constantly expanding my digital catalog.

My catalog spans a wide, eclectic array of musical genres.

Officially categorized under New Age on Apple Music, my music bridges cinematic, orchestral grandeur with down-to-earth, soulful storytelling. My discography breaks down into several distinct genres:

Yes, music is only one part of my creative output. I am also a writer and digital content creator. My work includes writing short stories rooted in absurdist humor, finishing my memoir, and crafting interconnected narrative worlds like The Iris Apocrypha (Mythological Fiction) and The Rumpelverse (Comedy TV Fiction). I also produce digital videos that bring experimental visual concepts and stories to life.

The Rumpelverse is a comedy TV fiction universe I have written, structured as a two-season narrative arc. Serving as a lighthearted, satirical counterpart to my dramatic work, the series focuses on dropping little sparks of weirdness into the daily grind.

The story follows a modern, reinvented version of the classic character – Rumpelstiltskin – who is an artfully chaotic, handsome, and eternally positive trickster traveling the country in a smelly 1997 dark green Ford Aerostar van while blasting tracks from Chained To The Rhythm and Déjà Vu.

Armed with a burlap sack full of reality-bending relics – including the Worn-Out Sponge of Wealth, the Jar of Frozen Moments, the Sphere of Precise Magic, and a magical Paper Towel Tube – he uses absurd, high-risk verbal spells to cause minor chaos, provide charity to the poor, and navigate cosmic courtrooms.

Season 1, “The Road to Louisiana,” focuses on his urgent cross-country journey to rescue his long-lost, rock-loving black Labrador retriever, Beebers.

Season 2, “The Cosmic Trail,” expands into larger adventures across locations like Roswell, New Mexico, and a secret pocket dimension outside of space and time that holds his personal vault and a massive 5-gigaton city of pure gold.

Along the way, the series features an eccentric cast of characters, including the formidable, 6-foot-5 diner owner Aunt Hilda, the deceptively simple and famously pungent Uncle Skidmark, the vintage-Madonna-loving Aunt Jezzie, a blunt, scooter-riding Granny, and a green-skinned alien collector named “Big Eyes” who is completely obsessed with Earth’s chocolate chip cookies.

More recently, it has served as a space for creative experimentation, including short films utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools. My service dogs are my family, providing deep companionship, unconditional love, and purpose. Over the past twenty years, I have shared my life with three incredible rescues, taking them on adventures. Caring for them is a daily responsibility that brings me immense joy, and my current dog serves as a wonderful bridge for connection with the people in my local community.

While streams and playlist additions or story reads are always appreciated, I find the truest fulfillment in seeing people look outward and support those in immediate need right in front of them. July 4th 2026. I was in junior high school in 1976 celebrating the Bicentennial and here it is 50 years later and I wrote a song titled “Happy Birthday, USA (250th Anniversary)”.

The song had been playing for months in the lead up to the July 4th celebrations.

On July 5th, I received an email alert about a TikTok video using my song. I investigated further to find that in one day, 550 TikTok videos recording celebrations all across the United States with my song as the chosen backdrop. Videos of flyovers, ships, fireworks, from New York, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Center to Florida, Texas, California, Ohio, Niagara Falls, and so many more places.

When I realized it, I started to cry, a good cry. People were celebrating with something I created for the occasion that I created from my heart. A lot of work went into the song lyrics and the direction as executive producer. I will not forget this holiday.

My world tour is actually happening right now – it starts at the coffee maker, has a brief layover in the living room, and ends at my studio desk. Tickets are incredibly free, but the dress code is strictly slippers and pajama pants.
